What Is Invisalign?
The clear way to straighten your teeth.
Want to straighten your teeth without drawing unwanted attention to your orthodontic treatment? Then say “goodbye” to metal braces and “hello” to Invisalign.
Invisalign is your virtually invisible alternative to traditional braces. It uses a series of removable, clear aligners to gradually move your teeth into their proper position.
With advanced technology, Invisalign has expanded its treatable cases to include: overbites, underbites, crossbites, gap teeth, open bites, and crowded teeth.

What’s the Invisalign Process?
Here’s what you can expect with Invisalign in Bend, OR.
First, our cosmetic dentist, Dr. Blake Drew will listen to your smile concerns and goals. Next, he will use an iTero scanner to take quick, 3D images of your smile (no messy impressions). These digital images will turn into an animated 3D model of your smile, showing you what it looks like now and what it can look like after Invisalign treatment. Our team will cover all the fine details during your consultation, such as treatment time, cost, payment options, and more.
To keep progressing in your treatment, your clear aligners must be worn for 20 to 22 hours a day. They should only be temporarily removed to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Failure to comply may result in longer treatment time, reverse movement, and discomfort.
Because you will be given a few sets of aligners at a time, you only need to visit our office every four to six weeks for a checkup. During your checkup, Dr. Drew will check your progress, make sure you are happy, and give you new sets of aligners. These appointments typically take 20 minutes.
Before you know it, your treatment will be complete! On average, Invisalign treatment takes 8 to 16 months to complete, depending on the complexity of your smile and your compliance with wearing the aligners. For a finishing touch, we recommend professional teeth whitening to really make your smile stand out.

Now that aligners can straighten a majority of smiles, we believe Invisalign is the clear winner. Here’s why:
- Treatment is often faster than braces.
